    This paper proposes a novel approach for load management in cloud which proves to be beneficial to intelligently place a VM in a physical machine and in case of load, migrate entire VM from overloaded physical machine to underloaded ones with an unnoticed migration time and without significant impact on the system.
    Live Virtual machine migration is exploited for better load balancing and thus improves system performance.

  • High Performance Computing as Cloud service

    We are working on providing high performance computing as cloud service. In this project we are using eucalyptus for cloud interface. We are using technologies like OpenMP, MPI and Hadoop on top of cloud to provide high performance computing. We are also applying load balancing to balance and distribute load during job running.

    I created hadoop cluster as my summer project in may-June 2013. In this project I installed hadoop single node in all PCs and then configured it for multi node. In this project I created 5 slaves and 1 master. And written some program to perform some task on hadoop cluster. example: program for word count in file.
